- It does not contact patients. All patient communication is done by their physician.
- It does not diagnose or prescribe treatment.
- It does not determine whether a person is eligible for a trial: the protocol's principal investigator decides that.
- It does not know any patient's identity. The center uses its own internal code, and the code↔person link never leaves the center.

No. The public screen only asks how many patients you follow per condition, from memory. No sign-up, no personal data, no medical records stored.
